Legoland Malaysia: three parks, one neighbourhood

Malaysia's first international theme park is Medini's anchor: 40+ rides across the Theme Park, the Water Park next door, and the SEA LIFE aquarium with ~13,000 creatures — walkable from parts of Medini, five minutes from the rest. Open daily (individual rides close for scheduled maintenance; check the official calendar), with seasonal festive programming through the year.

Puteri Harbour in 2026 — what's really there

You'll still find outdated listings promoting Hello Kitty Town and Thomas Town — both closed permanently on 31 December 2019 and were never replaced. What Puteri Harbour offers today is quieter and, frankly, pleasant: a free waterfront promenade with a children's playground, marina views, the restaurants covered in our dining guide, occasional carnivals and countdown fireworks, and an international ferry terminal with daily sailings to Batam and Tanjung Balai Karimun in Indonesia. There is no ferry to Singapore — a Tuas route has been proposed but has not materialised.

🎉

2026 is Johor's tourism year

Visit Johor 2026 — the official state tourism campaign — runs a year-long events calendar, and LEGOLAND layers its own seasonal festivals on top. For families weighing a move, it's a convenient year to test-drive the district on weekends before committing.
